About Me.
I am a psychologist. I hold a PsyD, a Doctorate in Psychology, and a diplomate in Marriage and Family Therapy, granted by the Board of Behavioral Sciences. I am also board certified Supervisor and have overseen numerous interns. My primary work is treating individuals, families, and couples. I have frequently received referrals from other psychologists, psychiatrists, clergies, AND patients. I have vast experience and knowledge regarding addiction, anxiety, depression, relationships, and personality disorders.

The counseling approach I use and provide best describes integrative psychotherapy. I use a combination of various therapeutic strategies and skills depending on a patient’s unique challenges. I have experience in applying many orientations, such as Jungian, Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Existential-Humanistic Psychology, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused therapy.

Once a new patient begins counseling, I provide them with an engagement letter explaining the ground rules, how I work, and how the therapeutic process may unfold. This is intended to provide important information regarding your treatment. I encourage you to read the entire document carefully and to ask me any questions.
